What's The cheapest and fast shipment to the philippines?

Sorry to tell you but cheap & fast does not equate. It will be one or the other but not both! :(

It would be best to send the money & let them buy it here. That way they would have a warranty & could get easy repairs if needed. Also if you ship DHL, FEDEX or UPS there will be custom taxes on it.

You could go to any oriental food store & ask about shipping boxes coming here (LBC type) but it will take about 6 weeks to get here so you might miss Xmass. These boxes measure about 20x20x20" with NO weight limit. Tape very securely & be vague about the contents saying used clothes, used toys & gifts - do not list the laptop. Put the value at about $200. Yes you are right about the rough handling of boxes.

Western Union. You can ship US. Postal service. In a bubble envelope. 3 weeks to get there. Reasonable price. 50/50 chance of theft. Or Fed EX. Must declair it. And pay import tax,+shipping. Added together twice what they can buy one for there. So figure the double law apples here. Buy it hear ship it there. And it will cost double of just sending the money there. Balken box if shipping 10 or more. 3 to 4 months by ship. There is some kind of deal. You can ship before X,Mass. To family there cheap. 1 big box. Check with a Philippino living here on that. Never done it myself.

if it's just the Laptop then give to dhl, they will charge you by the weight
