    If it disappeared, and you do not have your iPod jailbroken with "hide icon options" you should turn off your iPod for 5-10minutes and check again. You may need to restore your iPod. If this doesn't change it may be a bug that can be corrected my updating your iPod to the most current firmware in iTunes.
