Sims 3 game question?
I have been playing the Sims 3 game recently, and i have made a bunch of different families. When i leave the first family, and play another for awhile, when i go back to the first family i played, the two adults (parents) are no longer living together. In this particular case, the father is still there with the children, but the mother is gone, and I cant find her in any other household. This has happened to multiple of the families i have played. Why is this happening?

Sims 3 has an option that allows all household's 'stories' to unfold when they are not actively controlled. So it is entirely possible that the ex-husband re-marries or the best friend of another family dies while you play with your current family. You can disable this option however, at least on PC but I'd assume on console too. The option should be in the same panel where you can disable aging for the active household/set the length of each stages in a Sims lifecycle.
