Trying Out For The Volleyball Team?

This year was my first year playing freshman volleyball, and I somehow made the team with limited experience. I enjoyed playing, and it allowed me to make a few friends at my new high school, including one somewhat close friend. Although I am a six foot tall girl I was on the lower half of the playing level, and the third string middle blocker. Even if I did make JV next year, my favorite friend is most likely going to be promoted to Varsity next year, and I am not sure if I want to continue without her.

Well, you basically need to decide your level of comitment to the sport. If the only reason you like playing it because your friend plays it, don't bother player. But, if you really like the sport, I think you definitely have potential (being your height) I suggest playing club! Or if you can't do that try getting some lessons and going to college camps over the summer. Think about how good you could be considering you made the team with so little experience! :)

    Good Luck!

i think of you fairly need to play volleyball, yet merely dislike the folk who play at your college. in case you have a YMCA or something like that for the period of your place of birth they regularly grant volleyball leagues which might provide you an selection to being around those human beings. that could be a tricky selection, yet merely by way of fact which you play volleyball does not advise you may behave like all different volleyball gamers. you merely have could behave like a volleyball participant on the court. valuable you will make some new pals, yet enjoying volleyball does not advise your complete character and community of pals adjustments. seems such as you prefer to play for the properly suited motives, love of the interest. So i say get accessible and play and function relaxing. stable success and that i'm hoping this facilitates. Oh with the aid of the way merely by way of fact which you cant serve overhand does not advise you are able to't score factors. on the tip of the day in the adventure that your serve proportion is bigger from the ingredient then serve from the ingredient. i'm hoping this facilitates.

Well as you said you met her at volleyball, expect to make some new ones! I'm sure you're a great player and don't stop something you love just because your friend won't be with you. Just be yourself and next year you WILL make some new friends. I had the same problem, same sport, but I'm still playing and I have so many worthwhile friends because of it!

Well first of all varsity and JV spend time together usually, so that shouldn't be too big of a problem. Also if you don't play your riend is going to anyways and she'll spend all of her time on the sport, so really if you liked it and you have other friends on the team then you should stay with it. Besides if it sucks you can quit.

If you truly love the game.... keep playing!! You can see your friend off the court but don't limit your vball experience just because your friends may not be playing with you
