What constitute the "best" watch?
Hi,
I want to know what consists a good watch?
There are numerous companies that have superior craftsmanship and quality toward their final product but I'm looking for a affordable watch at a decent price. People have said that Swiss have the reputation to have the best manufactured watch available and is prominent for their golden precision movement.
I know, people kept saying that it all comes down to preference and personal taste. So to decide what watch I should purchase, I want to differentiate between what's regular and superior: what's special about watches that's highly crafted and intellectually designed?
Also, Amazon seems to have a wide array of causal watches I'm looking forward to but I'm not certain which type is more suitable. It also disturbing to notice that watches that has retail tag of $400 suddenly dropped over 80% and this entails to me, that the product has no value being sold to the public. Does anyone have opinion on this?
Thanks.

They keep on ticking, even when they're in water. They're stainless steel or backing. They don't ever need batteries. Swiss & the Japanese brand does. The Japanese also make good cars.
My parents have own watches that's not a Rolex, and it was a Bulova watch, they still wind them, no batteries needed, and they have them for over 9 decades. They were Made in the USA.
Watches, like cars. The minute you drive them out of the showroom, the price GOES DOWN. They're not like houses. Houses, you can upgrade, remodel, and change the shape of the house, add landscaping, and the price GOES UP.
Source(s): I've collected good watches, and $5 watches. My favorite is from Citizens Solar watch. I also own a Burberry watch. Sometimes, the batteries to replace them, per every so many years, cost more than the watch itself, in the long run.
