Is it not obvious in this day and age, that a god doesn't exist?

Oh honey you have it so backwards today more than ever (except when Jesus was here in the flesh) there is absolute evidence that there is a God and soon Jesus will be returning to take all those who believe in him to live with him in heaven. If you study scripture we are close to armageddon and every day prophesy is being fulfilled. I pray that you see this truth.

No, it is NOT! As we have evolved, we have grown more sophisticated. Most of us have realized that God is not a man with a beard sitting on a cloud, but something more abstract. God, without any form, personality or will, is the force that created the universe. God is the accumulation of all the love in history, God is our +deep core consciousness+ (reached through meditation) and all those consciousnesses are connected creating one cosmic consciousness that IS God.

Even if you don't believe that, look to David Bohm or Karl Pribram and their scientific theories within quantum physics: We are all, biologically and cosmically connected, there is no such thing as seperation or duality, and this connection is God.

No Bibles, no scriptures, no churches: Just a lotus position, some incense and silence: +You are God+

God most Certainly exists, many are losing faith because this is now a test, God cant help us now in times of stress, its a test as ive said, it hurts him to see his creations kill and die, but he has his reasons, to prove satan wrong, it is prophecied in the bible, that we are in the last days

9 “Then people will deliver YOU up to tribulation and will kill YOU, and YOU will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name. 10 Then, also, many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and mislead many; 12 and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off. 13 But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. 14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

there for the world must be in pain so it is fore told so it must happen in order for Gods kingdom to come.

It is obvious. I see so many people rejecting God, mocking Him, breaking His commandments, even insisting that going against His rules is okay. He doesn't exist in their hearts and it shows in all of the moral decay that is happening in our world right now more than ever!

Yes of course! You can imagine all the millions who died at the hands of cruel religion thousands of years ago would of hoped that all this religious bs would be abolished all over the world by the year 2011.

2 Timothy 3

1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

Duh! But isn't common sense supposed to be common? And don't you hear people all the time talking about how dumb everybody else is, some of them being very stupid themselves? If Santa controlled the afterlife and not just presents once a year, nobody would say bad things about him either.

I don't care, coz by believing in God makes me feel at ease
