Would love a christian to use logic, to try and prove a case for God, given the evidence.....?

If god wanted us to have faith with the aid of information he might have offered something tangible that would have lasted in the process the centuries. All we've is a mouldy previous e book or randomly gathered fairy memories and hearsay. that is not information of something different than human beings can write some loopy stuff. @HTacianas there's no information Jesus even lived. The so-talked approximately as eyewitnesses you communicate over with by no skill existed. The gospels have been written some a hundred years after Jesus's meant death. they do no longer look to be information of something. @Josie that is humorous how those miracles happening immediately, as you're saying, by no skill look to take place while somebody independent is around. by no skill any credible witnesses or video of the form. no longer something yet hearsay.

What do you mean? There is the bible, it was written by god (who is infallible), therefore it is infallible and since it is infallible, it can't be wrong. Ha! problem solved. You didn't say I couldn't use circular logic! Logic is in the title, i.e. it must be the logic all those scientists talk about. And i didn't even have to fire up ONE brain cell, its good to be christian, because even though you can beat me in an argument, I can sit at home and know that you are going to burn in hell for all eternity and I will live in a solid gold mansion!! Because I accept a 2,000 year old book, well at least the parts my pastor teaches, because I'm too lazy and dumb to actually read it myself. Scientific logic is restricted to what you can see and experiment with. Such logic is not possible when attempting to prove the existence of a God. Philosophical logic, the existence of God is feasible but not certain. Philosophical logic requires more thought and reason than scientific logic, and it encourages people to think outside of their own understanding of things.

People generally do not like thinking about common ideas or beliefs that they hold. Whether they be of an empiricist nature or not. In this regard, very few people actually use true logic or reason in attempting to reach truth.

Some have, they end up with laughable ideas such as the Kalām cosmological argument.

If you haven't heard of the argument, it creates a premise, then breaks it in the next step. It's logical idiocy.

The scriptures are evidence. Aside from that take a look at your history. The need to worship is one of the things that separates man from the animals. What civilization other than the communists of the 20th century had no form of worship? Even under these governments there was worship even at the fear of death. There still is.

As a christian I believe the scriptures are the highest authority and I believe reasoning and logic point to this. I encourage you to examine the evidence for yourself. Many say that homosexuality is not a choice and is genetic. It seems that worship is as well. It would take intelligence after all to form a code, especially one so complex as DNA.

I agree with the person above, read the Bible. You don't have proof because you choose to shut it out. Just because you can't see or touch something, doesn't mean it can't be proven. God is something you feel.
