If homosexuality is act of free will does that mean that animals have free will?

Animals are also aware of there's instinct and that is definition of word emotion. So what separates us from animals except opposable thumb? Is it something more then ability to laugh?

Update:

If all answerers are fun-die-s then you are BA, thanks :)

Animals don't have wars, just little fights over territory, they doesn't cause pollution deliberately, they don't have suicide (like we used to be) and someone actually expects me to believe that humans are super-species?

Update 2:

Lol, I mean other animals, we give animals bad name....

Update 3:

@blue giraffe: I am not sure that this is laughter. I meant like laugh on absurdity of situation.

@Kevin7: What happens in animal kingdom? If you mean homosexuality then read question again.

Update 4:

@G C: your answer sounds uncommentable. Using Chewbacca defence I see? I think blue giraffe nailed you. Sometimes it is selfish to give jacket to another person if you do it because you will be over soon. But there is saying here: "by your fruits you shall know me".

Update 5:

@Smash It Up Darwin: I find existence of free will a question complex in nature

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AqbNr...

@Daniel ben Mordechai: Nice utterance: I believe. Truth is you haven't proven either...

One Greek philosopher said when asked what is freedom (I think Aristotel): Jump in barrel. Swim.

Although you make a valuable point, you are (debately) guilty of bombarding. I too think that robbery is bad. That is why I don't drink milk. Cause of your bombarding tactics you are letting me refute it, so the audience will ad hominem conclude that everything in your argument is false (debating 1O1)

Funny thing is: you define cannibalism and robbery after your axiom that Humans are different.

Though dolphin perspective humans are cannibals (2 dolphins will create foam around you if a shark is near, so shark would think there is whole flock there and flee; just because "you look familiar". )

I think that means that do

Update 6:

I think that means that dolphins are morally superior.

I don't believe that animals truly have free will. To take one example: When a mountain lion kills and eats a pedestrian, that creature is merely doing what comes naturally to it, however horrifying the sight of it is going to be to us humans.

Humans, by contrast, truly do have free will - that's why we have consciences. As for the issue of free will insofar as it relates to homosexuality, all I can say is this: If you are going to justify any sort of human behavior just because animals do it (which is, it seems to me, subtly and indirectly implied by this question), you are inevitably going to be justifying far more than just homosexuality. Animals also engage in things such as infanticide, cannibalism, robbery and a whole host of other things. While I would not equate homosexual conduct with any of those three horrible things on a moral level (I oppose the idea of criminalizing it), it seems to me that the argument that just because animals do something is no reason why humans should be allowed to do so is fundamentally irrefutable.

actually some animals can laugh. I saw a gorilla laugh before on youtube

and to the below comment: humans are animals. an animal is an organism that has the properties of the animal kingdom. Do you know what kingdoms are. Do you know what self control is? and ANIMALS HAVE BRAINS! but now i'm wondering whether you have one

    ignorance....

by the way, even humans are after their own desires. all actions are selfish. if you give food to a homeless man, you do it out of the desire to help someone, the good feeling you get when you help someone.

when you help your family member you do it out of love. the good feeling you get when you help them. it is your own desire

quite, there are greater animals interior the international that harm people than animals that are supposedly gay. Does this mean that God thinks it is fantastic? No. interior the Torah, God says that if an animal kills a human, the animal must be positioned to dying. Animals have been tormented by Adam's sin, too.

Humans are animals. So, yes, of course animals have free will.

    We supposedly have higher intelligence.

But no, I view humanity as another animal.

You are not an animal. You have a brain to control yourself. An animal is only after their own desires; to eat, to get pleasure, etc. You have a brain and are responsible for your actions.

The cold, hard truth is this:

    There is no free will.
