Brand new boyfriend; get him a Christmas gift or not?

I just got into a relationship with my current boyfriend last Nov. 13th. Should I get him a Christmas gift?

We are sophomores in high school, if that makes a difference.

Also, if I should, what are some good ideas? He's not a huge fan of material things. We are both song writers, both musically inclined, etc.

Should I write him a song or would that be weird?

    I think u should get him somthing small,

    Christmas eve is actually my anniversary with my boyfriend, and i made him a mix CD(I know old fashioned,) and he is gonna love it!

    Just get him an accessory to a musical instrument he plays. Nothing too much though.
