I need the radio code for my van?!?

Question

I recently bought a second hand ford connect van without a manual. Ive had a little work done on it and it works fine except since the work the radio has been asking for a code. I cannot look down behind the radio as i do not have the keys to remove it from the dash so cannot find the serial number. Any idea how i can find the code? Ive heard i only have a few attempts before it locks!

You need to get the unit out Keys are on ebay for a couple of quite then IF the code is not written on the unit you need to have the M number written down then I can help you with the code

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display your Serial Number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321

to even have a chance for someone to help you you need to post the yr make and model of the van and the serial numbers off the van itself.and don't disconnect the battery without having a jumper box charged up and hooked to the power and ground wires to keep power in the system when your pulling the battery switch.or its about 50 bucks at the dealers when you give them the serial numbers of the van.

The code will be in the log book or the book you get when new!
