How can I power a UK Nintendo 64 console in the USA?

I am concerned primarily about voltage and frequency. What should I do to make sure the console will actually run (I do not care about display)? I do not think that just a converter will suffice, but maybe it will.

The N64 uses a removable switch mode supply. It may work fine directly on 120V with a plug adapter.

If it doesn't, you need a transfomer. Frequency does ot matter.

Another possivility would be to get a 120V N64 supply.
