Average 87 in 4 tests means a total of 87 X 4 = 348
87 + 81 + 88 = 256
348 - 256 = 92

Arithmetic Mean = (All test scores added up)/(# of test scores)
There are four test scores
Use x for the fourth test score.
Therefore, we have (87 + 81 + 88 + x)/4 = 87
That's your equation.

try counting each answer at a time to the scores u already know and then divide by four (i'm a good person so i wn't give u the answer good luck)
