Should I buy this leotard?
I want it for gymnastics and I really like it but I already have a lot of other leotards but most of them aren't purchased new like this one but it's $50. Plus I feel like since its Christmas soon I shouldn't spend that kind of money on myself but I like it.

That is a really cute leo. The metallic might "wear" and become dull quickly. It would depend on if it's metallic or mystique (tiny dots). The mystique holds up better.
Maybe you can ask for it for Christmas instead of buying it yourself. Or, maybe you can ask for money to put towards getting it. Sure, it's a splurge... but it's Christmas!!
In the future, there is a new leotard manufacturer that is opening in 2012. Most leos will be $21.99.

I would not because silver leotards tend to fade fast leaving it looking old after a few practices. You may be able to get it cheaper elsewhere and you do't know what size will fit. However if you must suggest it is given to you as a present.
