Help with opening a clothing store?
I'm 16 and striving to open a small/little bussiness. I have a great friend, friend since kindergarden, who's mom opened a thrift clothing business about two years ago and seen how happy she is running that. this gave me the idea to look into the clothing business and got some tips from her. I also got some information on this from the Internet. Here's what I got:
-to get the clothing cheap to nothing, got to flea markets or garage sales and tell them that you'll haul the cloths that don't sell off for free or give them like $5.
-location!location!location!!!
-get the legal documents and all that taken care off. Taxing, billing, store rent, ext.
And more...
I have my parents to help me in all the processes and how to do what I need to do. I'm have some money and Christmas is around the corrner, so there's more money to get started. I know this may not happen soon but maybe I could start selling on the Internet, I'm great at the computer.
So all I'm asking for is some advice for getting started and what way should I go with this?
Thanks in advance:)

Well you can easily open an ebay store. Another online option would be creating your own online store. That would be different. Do what your friends mom said to get the merchandise and post it all to your site. Then market like crazy to your local area. Marketing can really make or break a business. A big marketing tool now is Facebook. Create a Facebook business page and suggest it to all of the local people you can. That would keep your shipping down because you would be selling mostly to local people. You could even arrange on the big orders that are local to have it picked up or personally deliver. If needed you could rent out a local storage shed for your merchandise (I rent one for only $45 a month that fits a ton of stuff).
