Please help!! Word problems!?

Hello i am currently stuck on these two insanely hard problems and have been for hours. Just cant seem to get the answers for these two out of the dozen that i had to do. Please help me solve them and show how you got the answers if possible. Thank You!

1. Suppose 5 cooks, all working at the same speed can peel 7 potatoes all the same size in 3 1/2 minutes. How long would it take 7 cooks to grate 21 potatoes? Please answer in minutes and seconds.

2. Shelly's jungle juice calls for 1 1/2 times as much 100 proof Mexican rum as 80 proof Puerto Rican rum, both added to Sunny Delight (which has no alcohol). But Shelly's boyfriend Paul cannot handle even 2 ounces of alcohol but he always wants to have a 8oz glass of the jungle juice. In the world of alcoholic beverages, every 2 proof is 1 % alcohol. If Shelly uses 96 oz of Sunny Delight, what is the maximum number of Mexican rum she can put in the jungle juice? Please round down to the nearest whole number.
