is anyone else becoming annoyed with the same people asking the same questions 100 times in this section?

don't get me wrong i enjoy answering questions in the orlando section and i don't mind when different people ask the same old question.

what i do mind is when the SAME person asks the SAME question 3-4 times PER DAY and doesn't seem to want to just take the advice of what everyone says so they ask it again and again and again...........in hopes of a different answer.

i can't wait til the trip takes place in about 4 weeks for this to stop lol.

your thoughts?

Update:

@rose: thats not gloating.

thats simply showing the person asking the question that i'm knowledgeable and they can trust my answer.

you just joined today and are probably the same person that is posting 100 questions so i don't take too much offense to what you say.

most people that hang out in this section respect my answers as i respect theirs.

i like to think we are all "friends" coming together to give people the best info they can get.

Ya, it is annoying. I come here for some fun. It is a way to remember the fun of Disney and help some people out. However, lately I find myself giving snarkey responses because the questions are either so simple that 20 seconds in the search engine can answer them, or so repetitive that they annoy. I try to refrain from even reading them, but I cannot resist it sometimes. The 'how much does it cost' questions are the ones that come immediately to mind. Really, just punch up website for the vendor of whatever you are curious about, and price it. Even more annoying than these are the 'how much money do I need for souvenirs' questions. I mean, how in the h e double hockey sticks would we know what you want to spend on souvenirs. Spend whatever you want. It is one thing to ask about the price of t-shirts, or sodas, or food. It is quite another to ask 'How much money do I need to take with me for my family to have fun in Floriday Disney Land for 20 days?'

Oh well. Happy travels. Are you getting ready for 48?

I really like giving people good advise but its so hard when they ask things like "How much does it cost to Disney World" without giving any details or "How much does a flight to Disney World cost" without saying where they live. There are way too many of those questions. Oh, and Rose, I've been to Disney World over 20 times. I'm not bragging, I just use it in my sources because it is my source. I went four times one year, which greatly increases my knowledge of the place.

edit: Blue Rose, The people who post the same things over and over again are either too lazy to do a simple google search or a search for similar questions or they just an't be satisfied with the right answer. Posting how many times you've been to Disney World as a source is a completely different thing. You learn new things about Disney every time you go.

Absolutely. It's bad when I see the same questions in like 4 different sections, and then I check a few hours later, and THERE THEY ARE AGAIN!

Ugh, it isn't like you're going to get some magically new answer. There are only so many of us who hang around these sections and we tend to give the same, basic answer with the same, basic details. Heck, I've copy/pasted before since, hey, it's the same copy/pasted question.

I guess I just look at it like they want a specific answer so that they can validate their poor choices....

Edit: Imagine that... a Rose agreeing with a Rose... Same user, same opinion? Sure looks like it.

Who cares? If she's been to Disney 48 times, I'm going to trust her posts over someone who has only been there 4 times. It means she knows her stuff, not that she's bragging. But, then again, instead of reading her post for the informative advice that it offers, you're just going to write it off since she posted the number of times she has been to Disney.

Why are you so strongly against her posting the number of times she's been? Is it jealousy, or is it just a petty jab at her because you've got nothing else of value to post?

LOL. Yeah. I love JustinD, Lilli & Lauren's answers. I really used to enjoy answering Disney questions. That's how I met you. :) I thought I knew quite a bit about Disney, I've learned even more from you. Lately, I log on & think"Oh no...the same old questions..." & go to another section. It's nice to see you again Indiana. Don't be a stranger. LOL.

Maybe they just really like to talk about Disney! LOL. But it does seem like many of these questions could be answered by a simple Google search.

Still looking forward to our Disney World vacation in November! Whoo-Hoooooo! :)

I have to agree with Rose. So, why do you think you can post the number of times you've visited DIsney World, over...and over...and over again...OVERKILL, and yet you badger those who post the same material a few times a day. Don't get argumentative and defensive when someone calls you out when you have the nerve to call people out for doing the same thing. Just saying.

What kind of shoes should I wear to Disney? I was thinking 4-inch stilettos or Uggs. Is that ok? How much will it cost me to go there? And Harry Potter is at Disney, right?

    I'm with you.

Sadly there are people like that in other sections too. I just ignore their questions.
