Lap top webcam question.?

I have an HP Pavilion Entertainment Laptop PC with a built in webcam.I'm trying to find out if the camera moves up,down and from left to right, or is it just fixed. If it does move where do I find the controls to manuver it? Online support from HP is useless as is the so called user manual provided. Your help would be appreciated...Thanks.

built in webcams do not move. the space within the laptop lid are too restrictive for the mechanisms required for such action

Well henorb, or whatever is wrong about that. HP does have a webcam that has a movement range. However the movement is in the lenses, it does actually move. In order to find out if you have that particular cam, you will need to adjust the setting in the cam application. There should be a setting that allows the cam to center on and follow the face. Enable this setting and you will be able to see the cam move. Now it does not have a manual adjust that allows the user to control the movement, but there are several applications for the movement on the cam.
