Does anyone know much about Harvard Risk Management?

I find it extremely weird that you ever have to pay to work a job especially a risky sales job? I have always refused companies like Avon, Amway etc because I think all jobs should pay for background checks etc. Can someone tell me what they think of this company there is not much online except what they posted themselves. I do think I'm good in front of people but i just am weary especially since they are asking you to pay before the background check etc. Couldn't they just lie and keep your money? I like what they do and it seems reasonable but the math does not compute I just always say if it sounds to good it probably is.

    I'm sorry that I don't have an answer. I just got an email from someone from their company regarding an opening and have been trying to search too. I did find this conversation regarding them: http://sevenhabitsconsulting.com/risk-management-3...

    I didn't realize that they would ask for you to pay for your background check. Maybe it's to be sure that the person applying is serious? I'm not sure that I'll respond after hearing other people mention that they may be a scam. It seems that a lot of people are getting emails from the recruiter so if it's a wonderful company I don't know why they would be doing such massive hiring all the time. Good luck!

    Yes. It is a SCAM. I worked for 5 weeks, did everything they told me, recruited 6 people and to date have only received $100 of the $1200 commission that I was promised. Don't have anything to do with this company. They are also called Legal Shield/ Identity Theft Protection and Secured Benefits. My supervisor doesn't answer any of my emails any more, either.
