yeah, i just googled expenditure, although i just saw you defined it so i didn't have to waste the time but whatever its all good. but yeah i think so. i had lights throughout my whole house last year. it was awesome (i'm in charge of the decorating) but yeah now my dad doesn't want all that, so i had to cut it in half :( but less is sometimes more i'll make it look good. God bless though enjoy the season

Thanks for your question Keith Old.

Actually it is rather difficult to cut that much of expenses because you have to to buy what is necessary for the Christmas in some manner. Christmas comes only once in a year so the best way is to save money at the beginning in order to avoid struggling at the last moment. Have a nice day.

Yes they are because money is hard to come by these days and I can say that I am cutting back so much this year because I cannot afford much of anything myself. It is hard but it is the economy that we live in with these tough times that have gotten the best of all of us.

I guess it depends what your situation is.Families paying mortgages & raising young kids would be feeling the pinch more than most I should think. It won't affect me personally, but some of the family are cutting back on gift giving a bit.

I have never made Christmas into a big expense, Jesus is the reason for the season...

Some are...others are living on credit.....just like the American government.

I haven't seen much. It's still really early to determine that. My family hasn't though!
