I am against the C.I.O Method. What about you?

I am 15 years old but i have already made up my mind that i am against the cry it out method when it comes to putting my babies to bed. I don't want them to think i have abandoned them and i dont want their last memory before falling asleep is to be of them crying. What do you think?

You are correct. What you say has been backed up by research. A baby stops crying because it gives up hope of getting help. What is wrong with picking up a crying baby anyway? They are babies for goodness sake! They can't tell us what is wrong, so they cry. If picking them up soothes them, then parents should do it.

    I had 3 and I didn't let them cry.

How a parent can sit in the living room and let a baby "cry it out" is beyond me. Crying themselves to sleep is such a sad thing.

I'm against children who post the same question multiple times. I'd ask what about you, but clearly you disagree.
