Was 9/11 like the Crucifixion of the Christ?

Will 9/11 ever be looked back at an ancient event just like when The Romans Crucified our Lord Jesus Christ from the Holy Cross? So therefore, will 9/11 be looked at hundreds of years from now as another sin of God one of the Ten Commandments of the Bible?

People simply need to understand what side they are supporting and WHY.

THINK - your creator gave you a mind!

It will always be remebered and respected like George Washington's crossing of the Delware River or the Vietnam War. Now, whether it will influence an entire religion, become a sacred symbol to billions, and change the course of LONG term world history i.e. after the U.S. is gone, is something I doubt. However, I pray those poor souls rest in peace.

I think it is a stretch.

Sure, they are both murder but I think you want to depict the tall towers/cross thing more than it really connects to one and other. Unless of course the Son of God was in the towers or plane? Which techincally all people are 'children of God' so I suppose you could make it work. But I still find it a stretch.

  • Hahaha- no.

Jesus was killed yes, but he was killed after having been followed my a large group of people who believed him to be the long promised Messiah. For thousands of years people waited for Jesus...he came...and for thousands of years...people are still awed by his coming.

9/11 was...terrist attack...no religious group sat around the Twin Towers praising it...no one waited for them...and no one expected them to be destroyed. It was a tragic thing...but it will not be remembered and worshiped... That's just stupid quite rankly.

If no one is worshiping it now (and no one is...) then no one will be worshiping it later.
