How o reset my computer to factory settings w/o disk?
I have a Compaq, Presario CQ56. And it has started running very slow. When I tried to reset it to factory settings, it said it cant due to BOOT MS DISK missing!!! how can I fix this??
I have did the f11, f10 etc. (even ALT + F11) it isnt working

That F11 thing brings up the restore partition on your system HDD. Being it seems that has failed, it will not work.
You need to get your HDD working first, if it hasn't failed totally. If it has, you need a new HDD, and a restore DVD from the manufacturer or a new Win 7 install DVD.

Turn on power and press F11 key to run recovery without booting onto Windows (on some models esc key and then F11 key ).
