Outside of Myself, Has ANY other woman earned a Navy Cross?

Obviously your name has changed. The last female awarded the Navy Cross was Lilian M. Murphy. It was awarded posthumously in 1918.

FOUR women have earned the Navy Cross, ALL FOUR of them in World War I. They are Marie Louise Hidell, Lenah Sutcliff Higbee, Lililan M. Murphy, and Edna E. Place. THREE of these four women died as nurses during the Influenza Epidemic in 1918-19, and only Higbee survived to wear her award. She died January 10, 1941. Guess that means the person who posted this is in violation of the Federal Stolen Valor Act (Title 18 U.S.C., Section 704)
