I have a few rentals and what I'm looking at is the credit is paid as agreed. If there are medical collections I don't worry much about that. I have waived a credit report if I meet the people and they seem to be of good character.

Your past rental references are important. Did you pay your rent on time?

Income is important to me and time on the job.

My credit stinks right now so don't worry, you could be me. lol

Most landlords that check your credit look for evictions and are not too concerned about the overall score. A smart landlord will have no problem figuring out whether or not you can afford the rent based on your outstanding debt on loans and credit cards and your income.

That is what they base your eligibility on. Only "stupid" would go by your credit score and allow you to overextend yourself based on a number instead of calculating your income and debt liabilities.

Depends on the complex that you are wanting to go through!!! As a rental owner we never looked at a credit score & found that the ones who said the score was low we always the best tenants for the most part!!! Nowadays, I think its hard to base something on a cs!!!
