Most if not all the GOP candidates have said we should not raise taxes on the rich Job Creators, and also if we give rich people a tax cut this will create lots of jobs from the Job Creators. I think that we should go one step further and send all the rich Job Creators a check for some amount of money and this obviously will create lots more jobs. If everyone has a job we will be able to collect lots more income tax from the people who will now have a job that was created by the rich Job Creators. I think we can raise the taxes on these newly employed people to pay an extra tax to support this program and they should not complain about paying the tax because they now have a job and that would be much better off than living on welfare and or losing their house and every thing else if they remain unemployed. This new expense would also be partially offset by a decreasing amount of unemployment payments as people get jobs. This would be a new tax, but probably not on rich people because they would not be the people getting these jobs. As soon as we have full employment we can quit sending money to the rich Job Creators and then we could quit collecting this new tax. This will help balance the federal budget as these people start to pay their regular income tax. This will expand the number of people that pay income tax. I have no idea how much money we would have to give to the rich Job Creators and this is where the candidates come in, they need to come up with the figure of how big of a check to send to these rich Job Creators. I cannot see any down side to this new program and if most people think about this I am sure they will think this is a good idea. This will not be a wealth transfer program because these people getting the money are already rich.

If the working class could draw there retirement and pension at age 55 like congress, the unemployment benefits needed would decrease, because people could use there retirement and pension to pay off houses and additional debt. Would not need to be in unemployment lines, for closures would be cut 90%, living on the streets would be no more. Children taken out of christian schools would stop. The states would not have a heavy burden from unemployment benefits, or homelessness, also student loans could be paid off.

people could afford medical and dental insurance. People could afford to go buy a new car, which would help the auto industry. People could afford to spend a little more which would help the retail stores. When you have poor credit because of loosing your job no one cares but see you as a poor candidate for employment, not understanding the constant job lose or prolong unemployment has caused a lot of unpaid bills which hits your credit rating.we currently have a prison population of 2,500,000 prisoners+. Also from what i understand there is also a problem with the boarder between mexico and the U.S., befor i get too far off subject, concidering there is a few trillion dollars worth of debt being charged to the children of the U.S. And a huge population of waisted workers sitting right under our nose incarcerated, What are some of the ways you would use these negatives to our advantage? After doing the math i discovered that at an average of 40,000 dollars a year per prisoner (which is what it costs annually to keep an inmate locked up), we would have over 100 trillion tax dollars if we had no prison population at all. How can we utilize our broken system to make it work for us instead of costing money that a criminal would have trouble making on the streets through crime.

When the Clinton White House balanced the budget in 1999 & 2000. Why did the Republican White House in 2001 decide to stop taking in enough tax revenues to pay the bills of the American People and let the debt to start rising again? Even after 9/11 when we had to spend Trillions extra Money on Home Land Security the Iraq War and many other War related Items. Why didn't the Republicans do away with the Bush Tax Cuts after seeing that these Regular Bills & War Bills need to be paid and Balance the Budget again in 2002 or 2003 or 2004 or 2005 or 2006 or 2007. Why can't Republican be as responsible as the Democrats and just pay the American Peoples Bills.

I never heard a word about a recession. We only seem to have them during a Democratic Presidency. Since government spending has become so important to all of you - please tell me why you hate the government, yet you still take money from the government. Can you say today that you will not accept any more money from the government, that would be Social Security, Medicare or even a refund from the IRS - that would be the politically correct thing to do in these times. I am sure the government would be able to use this money for people that need it. If you hate the government, then don't use our money. If the working class could draw there retirement and pension at age 55 like congress, the unemployment benefits needed would decrease, because people could use there retirement and pension to pay off houses and additional debt. Here is my question for Perry or anyone else who would like to answer it. What godly principals will you uphold if you are elected president? Have you picked up a bible lately. It's all there, and due to lack of agreement nothing is getting done. If you look around the farmers aren't allowed to use reproduced seeds because the businesses that supply nutrition supplements keep them, that leads to a great famine, and that is where America is headed. Do you realize how much stuff it made from corn. Here is a few gas, several food product, soda, just about everything has some form of corn. If you don't believe me that start looking at labels on stuff that you buy. I would also be interested in hearing about alternative energy, such as windmills, etc. the next president plans on introducing and using to reduce pollution. If you are to represent our government of "for the people, by the people" then what do you believe should be done to not only hold candidates accountable for claims made to the public when they don't follow through? And 2) Why should the American public believe your claims as we have been let down so many times before?

This is a question that needs a judgment call on how much money is necessary to achieve results. I think we have been giving money to the wrong people to create jobs. Most if not all the GOP candidates have said we should not raise taxes on the rich Job Creators, and also if we give rich people a tax cut this will create lots of jobs from the Job Creators. The big companies are making a fortune worldwide using the brand USA and not contributing to prop that name up through a fair contribution to taxes or to the employment of USA. This created a huge financial divide between the corporate fat cats and the common people in this country in runaway wage differences, job opportunities and consequently the living and retirement standards. The argument for outsourcing our jobs for the greater benefit has always been a blatant lie and could be proven by any economic measures - people with basic knowledge of mathematical tools could draw the basic correlations now. The windfall profits from it helped booster the wealth pileup of a select coterie only. Any political party could solve the majority of these problems however none is discussing the real issues.

I would like to know what their plans are to fix this problem which is quickly taking this country down to the path of the third world dictatorships and by some broader measures have at least partially arrived. The US export is fast becoming a laughing stock in the rest of the world where once it had commanded a very respectable and almost awe inspiring presence. I believe that the common people is fed up with the BS pouring out from Washington while the politicians are taking part in this looting of this country's reputation through personal gains via cronies in the industry lobby.

I am asking for a real and transparent plan described in a sentence or two (not buried in political gobbledegook!) that provides a solution and reverses this overall downgrading of the country for the benefit of a few.

the economy began a decline, companies went under, jobs began to be lost, and oil company profits went to unprecidented levels. This was the beginning of our downward spiral. Im all for free enterprise, however, this is stifling our growth. When will our government reign in the oil companies and regulate their profits as a utility?. If they could step in and regulate Ma Bell why not the oil companies, they are too important to daily life and the countries security. Gas fuel is a necessity not a luxury. Most people are unable to use mass transit as it is usually not convenient for commuting. What used to cost families $100 a month now costs upwards to over $500 or $800 or more a month for families with 2 commuters. Its as if everyone is afraid to attempt it. Do they really have this much power? Please dont reply this is why we need new energy sources because they will increase those prices also. For example, Solar is a wonderful option for homes but is not cost effective in outlay. Most people are on budgets and cannot afford new more efficient vehicles, and the economy has destroyed the publics credit scores and therefore the affordability of a new car loan. So lets keep the focus on runaway profits, at the detriment of American families financial well being. Why is it politicians are afraid of big oil?
