Answer Surviving 2012?
Why are people preparing for 2012. If it's supposedly doomsday/end of the world, ITS THE END OF THE WORLD for a reason not so you can survive. OH and let me add something. I do NOT believe in 2012 for I am a Christian so i believe only God knows when the end of the world is. Anyways if a meteor his its going to kill all in the impact and the blast will kill any1 else. Volcano will kill. Bad weather will kill. Earthquakes will kill. Tsunamis will kill. Aliens will kill. YOU have no chance. so why do people prepare to survive if there's no way to survive? I LOL AT 2012

Most people do not relish the thought of dying, thus they often hope that they will be spared. And along this line of thinking, should they be spared (among the very few) they will need the items which sustain their lives...like food, water, medicine, first aid supplies, guns and ammo.
You can LOL all you choose and heaven help you should you survive without preparations because dehydration and starvation is a horrible way to die. It is very slow, takes a long time and is very painful.

No one knows when it will end. That is not human knowledge. And you made a very good point, mother nature is doing all the dirty deeds to mankind and society. And even mankind is doing it to mankind. Besides, we all die in one way or another. Unfortunately in 2012 the Mayan Calendar ends and there are no more after that, that could explain the Dooms Day Theory.

Well, the reasoning behind 12/twenty something/2012 is that the Mayans had like ten calendars and the one would count days after it was set in place. On that one day, the number is going from a whole crapload of nines to something like 10000000. So there's really nothing happening besides a money making opportunity for Hollywood. Ya know? So bundle up and enjoy the damn holidays before someone says the world is supposed to end... Again...
