What does this mean on my high school transcript?

Out of 2 high school transcripts, one says under reason for exit it says "Public in Dist."

What does that mean? Im 24, so its not as though I can call the counsler! Thanks a million!

    Well, even though you are 24, you can still call the school and talk to someone in the administrative office. Just call and say

    "I graduated a few years ago and have a question about a notation on my recently received transcript."

    They will then answer your question or transfer you to somone who can help.

    Also, my guess would be that you transferred to another public school within the same school district. For example, if you spent your freshman and sophmore years at Franklin HS (in East Los Angeles) and then went to Fairfax HS (in West Hollywood) for your Jr. and Sr. years, Franklin would list "Public in Dist" as your reason for exit since both schools belong to the LA Unified School District.

    Wait your 24 and still in high school?, and call for the school for that because I don't know
