Coheed And Cambria Love Song?
Okay, so I'm going to ask out this girl, who adores Coheed And Cambria, and I do like all the songs I've heard by them (about 12?), but my question is, is there a song by them that is an expression of love? What is a song by them (if any), that talks of how much someone loves someone, and that love is the true meaning. I found a few, but they are talking about hating them in some way at parts. Any pure love songs? Much thanks,
Me.
I knew what the story was about, but thanks for telling me. I'm gonna see if I can ever get the money to go buy the Amory Wars, but for now, nope.

Well you have to realize that their songs are all about a fictional story involving two people one named coheed and one named Cambria. The lyrics are basically telling the story of their lives, thier children, enemies and so on. And from what i gatherd the story is pretty grim. So to be honest with you I can't recall any one song being a "love" song. But if your girlfriend is fan that she will love any song. And she has great ******* taste in music.

Well... I suppose if I have to narrow it down... My all time favorite song by Coheed and Cambria is "Time Consumer" off their first album. The intro is one of the most interesting i've ever heard from a rock band, and some of the lyrics just grab me by the throaght... "debate to understand that we all have a flaw/ and fail to represent your life as you know it/god grant you one wish to turn back the time...." Very close contenders would have to be "Blood Red Summer" off of their second, "Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness" off of their third, and "The Road and the Damned" off of their fourth. I don't think that the *reason* that they're so creative is because they're novelists... Claudio and Travis have said multiple times that they'd still be making this type of music even without the storyline, that's something that Claudio does more than the rest of the band, but it does provide a cohesive image overall. I really do think that they're just crazy talented. They've been jamming together for years and years, and they have enough creative mojo to really make magic. They've also nearly broken up a dozen times, they go through a lot to get to where they are, musically. I like the fact that they put on a great show. I hope to see them again, soon, but even if I don't they put on a damn good show, one worth remembering. Saul
