Should there be a "Personal Problems" section in YA?

This would greatly free up the psychology section for some serious questions about Frued's theories, Milton Erickson and the greats instead of getting bombarded by people who think that their personal problems are a psychological problem.

Lots of the current categories have become "personal problems" sections. It would not really help much. People incorrectly categorize things now. With yet another category to choose from, it would only be worse.

You can't really fault folks for miscategorizing something. "Personal problems" cover a wide range of issues, from dating, to interpersonal realtionships, to mental health. So having a category named "Personal Problems" is not going to solve that particular problem.

Additionally, while it may be nice to keep psychology for the more ethereal realms of theorizing, psychology is about how the human mind works. And the human mind often creates serious personal problems for us, doesn't it? Where psychology becomes a major factor in the how and why of it happening and in the resolution as well.

    They are categories not sections!

    And I think it's a great Idea!
