Can Margaputo still redeem himself and get the respect as an elite once more?
Can Margarito get back the respect he lost after his series of defeats? Or once and for all Cotto just proved that No Plaster = No win.
Should Margarito still fight? Or there is no more point because cotto had his revenge already and Margaputo got whooped already by every available elite opposition out there?
Will Margarito be remembered as one of the great welterweights of this generation? Or will he be remembered as the man who won fights with his magic wraps

My Friend,
I am of the the opinion that Antonio is done. Manny finished Antonio with the damage to Antonio's face after their fight and Antonio's fight against Miguel was just the icing on the cake, so to speak. The effects of the punishment from both of these fights is evident in the way Antonio's eye swells as soon as punches start to connect. The same exact thing can and should be said about Miguel's face to to the beating he took from Antonio in their first fight (Miguel swells in similar fashion) The fact of the matter is Miguel is by far a better boxer than Antonio can ever be and in saying this Antonio can only fight one way and that's take a shot to give a shot.
One can only speculate if Antonio did indeed have loaded wraps in his first fight with Miguel, I'm of the opinion that he did and without that one punch knockout power Antonio would just be at the losing end of the stick against any of the top ten guys in his weight class. The time has come for Antonio to get out of the sport that has done so much for him. The only thing that can't come into question about Antonio's career is the man had balls.

i think of he's a sturdy individual, just to not sensible in remote places affairs. One good ingredient he could desire to do is deliver the troops domicile now. Even the best Minister of Iraq mentioned those days that the U.S. could desire to flow away at each time. President Bush mentioned awhile back that the U.S. could flow away if Iraq wanted them to. Why would not Bush hear? could desire to it is U.S. occupation due us considering the fact that maximum of of our brave, youthful infantrymen have died over there to so-talked approximately as unfastened Iraq so as that they could stay in a international of democracy? have been we actually combating so we would not could have a warfare on terror on united statesa. soil, and on the comparable time, acquire a strategic place interior the middle East? Time will tell.

unless he lets that eye heal properly he shouldn't fight again. i'm sure the only state that would license him after last nights fight is Texas.
but he was never in the category as one of the great welterweights... toughest S.O.B maybe but he will always be remembered for a tainted career.

IMO, everyone he fights in the future will be going for that eye and it won't be long before, it'll close and be damaged sooner and sooner.
