2004 Nissan Altima 3.5SE timing chain?
Ok I'm pretty sure my altima has the timing chain/tensioner issue. Strangely though, other people say it happens to theirs when its cold and goes away after the car warms up. My car, however very rarely "rattles" whenever I first start it in the morning. It seems to do it at its worse when it is warming up and then finally warmed up. But even then it doesn't do it all of the time. Why does it not do it all of the time if its the timing issue? Please help and give me any advice/information you know. Thanks.

Well sounds like it is time to replace the intermediate chains and any tension shoes that are damaged Good Luck
