They voted against tax cuts for the middle class TODAY and YESTERDAY. It's only the rich they want to cut taxes for.

    Nice straw man argument.

Seriously, do you think taxes are the only thing that affect the economy? Do you honestly believe that if we raise taxes that the economy will get better? Have you passed high school math and economics yet? Or do they even teach those anymore?

Our economy is 70% consumption. So, if I have $100 in my pocket can I consume more or less than if I have $90 in my pocket? Lower taxes means more money to spend which means a better economy and more jobs. It really is not complicated.

Because people can't afford tax hikes today. The solution isn't tax tax tax, it's spend wisely. But dems just want to tax and spend tax and spend and spend money that isn't even there and increase the national debt even more.

@foogie, if people actually helped their neighbors instead of expecting the government to do it we wouldn't need a lot of those programs. But people are greedy and materialistic and only want to accumulate money for themselves while their neighbor starves. There are exceptions but that is the general mind set of people. Donate to food pantries, offer a hot meal to someone you know who is struggling to get by. Stop asking the government to do what you should be doing yourself. From those who have much, much is to be expected.
