Why do people like the big bang theory? ?

Seriously? Without the Big Bang Theory we wouldn't have:

1) a catchy tune at the beginning (thank you Bare Naked Ladies)

2) The word "BAZZINGA"

3) Another word for sex lol...I love saying "coistus"

4) seen Blossom (Amy Farrah Fowler) all grown up ha

5) heard a very methotical knock...knock, knock, Penny... knock, knock, Penny lmao

I've decided to give it a try the other night and have come to this conclusion: It's just like every other bland sitcom.

The jokes aren't that good and the laugh track/live audience ruins it even more. The only thing that could attract good ratings is the acting. The actors do a great job playing their odd and nerdy characters, and they deliver each line in just the right way to make the viewers laugh.

The characters are okay. I can understand why Sheldon's a favourite. Everyone loves a quirky fictional nerd. Just look at how many people adore Abed from Community!

As for Community getting canceled, I don't know what to tell you. It shall be missed. :(

I agree with you 100% I was never able to watch a full episode its retarded the characters act like such spazzes its awful I know the jokes are supposed to be witty or smart but they try way too hard.

I am a big fan of Community and have actually noticed the same jokes on Community and The Big Bang Theory. I think The Big Bang Theory would be better without the live audience; the loud laughter is terribly distracting and I think it encourages the actors to exaggerate and ham it up.

first off the writing is genius

and witty

the jokes are thinkers sometimes.

the acting is actually marvelous and the characters most deffinately are likable and charismatic in their own way.

the laugh tracks are a bit much and a bit loud but never the less the show itself is quite funny.

the community is the most generic show on tv...Big Bang Theory is fresh and new and different. i have never seen a show like it.

If you're really interested in psychology, then it's a pretty good show. It's also the fact that a really pretty girl is dating a nerdy guy who is best friends with another nerdy guy and the things they say and do are just stereotypical and hilarious. You have to get the humor to like it.

I agree,but people mostly watch it because of sheldon.Its such a cliche just like barney stinson,jeff from community sms other spinn off smocks.I dont really watch it honestly.Some people are just really blind and will laugh at anything their saying or doing.
