Who is this "joseph smith" the Bible translator?

he was a great man who got laid all the time. He had over 30 wives. Lucky bastard! I wish I was him.

Joseph Smith was a boy born around 1830, at that time there were many religions and he wanted to know which of the faiths he should join in. He had a very inspiring, sacred, and personal experience with prayer and God, He received the knowledge and power to translate a Book that is known as the Book of Mormon, and them he was inspired by God to clarify some verses in the Bible.

He didn't change the doctrine, he didn't create another Gospel, He, with God's power made the Bible clearer.

Take some time to compare what it is there and what it is written in any other version of the Bible and you will see that your knowledge will be increased and that some verses are clearer.

Why did the Bible need a translation?

Because the Bible has been translated thousands of times, from one language to another and from one person to another. Some verses have been misunderstood and many truths have disappeared or taken away. Isn't this the answer to Why are there so many CHristian religions and all of them teach about the same God?
