wow that quote was gay.
It means that being what you feel you are inside is one of the hardest things people can do when faced against society. Based on its negative aspect to assimilation, i'm going to say that it promotes self expression and individualism. It really makes little difference, to be an individual or to be part of a collective group. We all die.

It means-
everyone in this world is trying to change evryone else. Be it a friend or any1, they always expect you to be lyk some1 they admire....they say be lyk this, be lyk that, don't do this...but the real self respect lies in being who you really are...!!!
