Should people in high density neighborhoods be prohibited from burning firewood daily ?

After reading answers mostly in oppositions to my questions on firewood control, I decide to tweak my question again . People appear to still think that firewood is a given which means that it is OK to burn firewood anywhere anytime. I oppose this view... Firewood smoke is not healthy to breath, simple as that. I am so certain that it helps drive up health costs and premiums . Nobody wants higher health costs but fail to connect the dots.... So this is what I am aiming at .. high density neighborhoods like four houses to an acre subdivisions at least. Yes, there is fireplaces in condos, townhouses , too. I am not asking this question to ranchers with acreage or farmers or even cavemen... They need not answer here.. I am asking any of you who live in subdivisions and condos generally if you really pay attention to PM2.5 or PM10 a measurement of particulates floating in the immediate air above your roof or even on the ground level.. I also mean that if you really trust the data based on where they are measured? Are they actually measured at locations close to the chimneys or stovepipes that is comparable to close proximity of neighborhoods? I suspect that measurements of PM2.5 or 10 is very misleading because they are measured in such illogical locations far removed from the clusters of chimneys or stovepipes like airports or remote spots .. I wonder how much higher the readings of PM2.5 or 10 would be at next door locations of neighbors who use firewood ? Come to think of that.... Coal power plants are doing a far better job of cleaning up the air pound for pound as compared to firewood coming out of hollow shafts known as chimneys and stovepipes.. Actually, coal power plants employs huge vacuum cleaners with huge bags to trap PM2.5 and 10 while there is none found in chimneys and stovepipes.. I know that people need firewood to stay warm or to save money but where is the pollution controls.. Why should we let people off the hook with burning firewood and harming neighbors ? I think this is disrespectful not to mention irresponsible thing to continue doing so.. EPA is somewhat timidly encouraging people to switch to gas stoves from wood stoves.. EPA certified fireplaces or stoves are still substandard as compared to coal power plants.. I get useless answers from readers who are too quick to spit out what they think or feel about firewood.. I urge readers to stop and think about everything around the issues of firewood smoke before they answer here. Stop and think because every one of you including myself are paying through our noses for being too careless with firewood use... Please answer intelligently because I am not that stooopid!! I know what I am talking about , alright ? Now , clear out your nostrils and start enjoying the clean air free of firewood smoke especially that dreadful PM2.5 and 10 . OK DO KEY?

Not that "stooopid" huh? Ok Do Key. I get it. You are the only smart one. That means you should have no problem understanding this.

People EVERYWHERE have been burning wood and other biomass for centuries, even millenia, since the beginning of cold weather. There has never been a pollution problem from that.

Now, in the last two hundred years or so, petroleum energy use has come into the mainstream. And since then, we have a serious environmental issue with pollution. That doesn't take a genius to figure out. Fuel, mostly kerosene based, is putting very high amounts of particulates and gasses into the atmosphere at an alarming rate. Gasoline for our cars and lawnmowers is right behind that. Fire wood? No. I say go back to it.

We need to just quit using petroleum.

I live in a subdivision such as you described and raised three children here and I am raising an adopted daughter here now. I never worried about firewood smoke.

I LOVE the smell of burning firewood. My only problem is that I am JEALOUS because I cannot afford to put a fireplace in my own home.

Your grasp of the facts concerning the content of firewood smoke only proves that you have TOO MUCH TIME on your hands.

Find someone you love and curl up in front of a nice crackling fire and do something enjoyable there...

So let me get this straight. You've posted your firewood rant before & didn't get the response you wanted so you'll 'tweak' the question in an attempt to get the response you desire? That's kind of lame, isn't it?

As far as your comment "People appear to still think that firewood is a given which means that it is OK to burn firewood anywhere anytime. I oppose this view... Firewood smoke is not healthy to breath, simple as that. I am so certain that it helps drive up health costs and premiums" This is totally your OPINION, & your prejudice du jour apparently.

What's the matter? One of your neighbors won't conform to YOUR idea of safe living? Get a hobby! Maybe crushing ants, or burning them w/a magnifying glass?

Too long and rambling question for this forum!

Many US based coal power plants do NOT use approved scrubbers.

Wood is OK in rural areas.

Wind Turbines cost more carbon credit to produce and install and there are potential health hazards, but they effect rural folks with low voter density so it doesn't matter, does it?

The way to go is clean energy like nuclear, but not stupid like the Japanese or Russians and parts of the USA. You need Candu 's in a stable area.

"It's not what you got, it's how you use it."

How is this a FEDERAL remember? on account that those homes were already of their relative positions once you moved-in, were you forced to purchase a house in that region or are you putting your own needs peculiarly different concerns? Why did you go with no longer to purchase right into a subdivision the position firewood use is forbidden? were you forced to purchase a house so on the point of yet another one or do you in basic words experience entitled to rigidity your will on your acquaintances? because you're literally one hundred% particular your acquaintances tolerate particular elements of YOUR habit they don't savour in any respect, i assume you wish they are going to get a Federal enforcement employer in touch to rigidity you to regulate your techniques - till you're an evil hypocrite crap-pile, obviously. What different elements of YOUR selection do you wish might want to be overturned by employing Federal rigidity? i can in basic words ask that you end and imagine or imagine what it truly is favor to stay next door to someone so horrified by employing HER own judgements that she needs to apply fines, guns, handcuffs and prisons to make individuals accommodate her regrets about HER own selections. it truly is an quite cruel and organic evil-to-the-middle soul who CHOOSES to pass-in to a difficulty then feels entitled to rigidity OTHERS to regulate what SHE chosen.
