I need help with notepad?
Everything wants to open in note pad, how do I reconfigure this computer to either let me find the application I want to use or something? Not everything uses notepad and it all comes up as unreadable goop...Thanks

Right click on the file of your choice
Click properties
Under the "General" tab click on "Change..." and then select which program will open that particular type of file.

This change to everything wanting to open in one program like Notepad is usually the result of an infection.
Make sure you computer is clean. Run a scan with your anti-virus program.
And also with an anti-malware program like Malwarebytes or SuperAntiSpyware.
