If I quit drinking diet soda and am supposed to sub. with tea, what sweetener should I use?
I really want to quit drinking diet sodas. I'm shamefully an addict and I know it's bad for me. I like water but not with a meal. I want something with taste. Our family loves tea...what sweetener should I use that is safe? I know the pink, blue, and yellow are supposedly not good. I don't want to use sugar and add calories so calorie free please. Any other fruity suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

Pretty much all artificial sugars and saccharines are for you, I would just go with some real sugar.
Or if you want to be a tad healthier you could always add honey (that's always a good option)
But yeah, IMO I would just go with honey since its good for you, and sweet, so I hope I helped =P

Have you tried stevia? Not all brands are equal to each other, though. However, I'm not a tea drinker. I just drink symfre herb tea when I have a cold and stevia herb tea helped a lot when I had food poisoning. But I do use SweetLeaf Stevia. It has 0 calories, 0carbs ,and a 0 GI--I understand the only brand with all three of those properties.
