The only signed musician I've ever met was part of the second best-selling artist on Apple Records (the Beatles being the only artist on the label who sold more, of course). Anyway, it was Joey Molland of Badfinger, who's the only living member of their most well-known lineup (Pete Ham, Tom Evans, Mike Gibbins and, of course, Molland).
