How do I import music files from iTunes into iMovie '11?
I tried going to File > Import, but my only options were Movies, Camera Archive, and iMovie HD Project. I also went to the box in the lower right hand corner of the screen, and clicked on the little music note icon, which is supposed to link iMovie with iTunes, but absolutely nothing shows up. It reads as 0 files. This cannot be true because my iTunes account, which I can access perfectly normally, is chock full.
I also tried selecting the track and dragging it into iMovie, but it would not let me drop it anywhere. Ugh, I love the new Mac, but I miss the old iMovie!!
Please help!

That it's really weird. I also have iMovie 11 but I haven't had that problem.
What I suggest is to locate the music files in Finder and change their audio format. If it's not an mp3 file try change the file name from [example] Fireworks.wmv to Fireworks.mp3
If they are already in mp3 format play with other different formats like wav, mp3, wma, mp2, m4a, ogg, avi, mid, flac, mov.
