I have a sandisk sansa mp3 player. If I bought a sony walkman mp3 player will I notice a substantial difference in sound quality? Thank you for any answers.

yes you will. sony is easier to use and sound quality is better.

Probably not substantial. Maybe a little bit. Also if you get decent head phones it helps, and what bit rate your songs are 128kbps is cd quality anything lower is gonna be bad and anything higher will be ok, but if it is way high it will be louder then your other music.
