Moving to Seattle? Best places to live for college student?

I currently live in San Diego and looking to move to Seattle, WA. It seems like the prices are pretty similar compared to down here, in regards to cost of living depending on which part of town. Which I'm curious which are some good, cheap places to live in Seattle? Something around $700/mo? And somewhat safe and somewhere that has a lot of young kids in the teens and early 20s whom are going to college. I want to meet new people and have lots of things going on in the town I'm in. Any suggestions? Thanks

I just moved here from Boston a year ago and love it. Best microbreweries in the world.literally. If your schools in the University district that's a good spot. Its where a lot of college kids stay so it's close to campus. My fav areas are lower queen anne (where the space needle is). Its a great urban neighborhood that's safe and has bars/ easy access to the whole city ECT with barely any crackheads/bums to deal with. And there are always events at the seattle center. Capitol Hill is great and has tons of young people / college kids / bars / clubs ECT. There are more hipsters in that area which is why I love to visit Ch but couldn't live there. Ballard is awesome. Its the Brooklyn of Seattle. Again tons going on. City is built up of urban neighborhoods and way more metropolitan than SD. Its a really safe city on the north side too.

Washington is really a big and all know town and is certainly worthy send a secondary or just visit that city. with hotelbye you'll find more. One of many symbols of Washington and the entire America may be the famous White House, the state house of the President of the United States. Your home of each president except George Washington, it absolutely was initially developed by James Hoban in 1792, and after being burnt down by British allows in 1814 was renewed in 1818. Even though excursions of the interior that include the East, Blue, Green, and Red Areas; the Ballroom; and the State Dining Room should be reserved effectively in advance, every tourist to Washington may wish to see that well-known building, at the very least from the outside. Nearby to the White House are the elaborate 1833 Greek Revival Treasury Building and the 1871 Executive Office Building, one of the very striking previous government structures in Washington.

Seattle is a great place to live. Very cold during the fall/winter seasons, but very warm during the spring/summer seasons. The U-Disctrict is where all the college students and people are at. Living in America isn't cheap so don't expect to find super cheap places to live in Seattle. Safety wise, well, I grew up in the "ghetto" part of Seattle, White Center, so every other part of Washington is safe by my standards. And Western Washington University Rules!! WWU class of 2014-15 :D

I live in U district. It is great if u are a uw student. I say Capitol Hill is affordable enough and there are plenty of college students and things to do (and it is near Downtown). Greenlake area is good a place for a quiet study and exercise area. I would definitely recommend Capitol Hill (Did research about the area).

I may be moving to Washington from Michigan in a few months. I've applied to Western Washington University in Bellingham. It's a college town, pretty quaint, beautiful scenery, and I'm sure you won't have too many problems making friends there.

Anyways, look into it! Washington is amazing.
