Why do men seem to do better on Jeopardy?

On tests, it's been proven that men do better on multiple choice questions, while women outperformed the men on essay questions. They say it has something to do with testosterone, men not thinking as much about the answer & being more willing to take a chance even if they get the answer wrong. While women, despite the fact that we usually have better intuition & gut instincts than men, tend to worry more about picking the right thing & what might happen if we make a mistake, so we may override our instincts & secondguess ourselves on what we believe, even know, is the right answer. And jeopardy is more like a multiple choice quiz than a test with detail oriented essay questions, hence men may be more likely to outscore women.

It depends on the day. The guy today did well but really irritated me.

Maybe they're faster at hitting the buzzer.

We're just smarter...it's time to accept it.
