Stuff to put in package, for Canadian soldier?

I'm sending a package with a few things to a (random) Canadian soldier..I'm thinking about sending stuff only found in Canada, and stuff that would remind them of it..No stupid remarks! Here are some of my ideas :

Ketchup chips

Aero

Maple leaf, dipped in gold (I don't wear it anymore..)

Nothing too expensive or big.

Just some words of the wise. Unless you have a specific soldier to send it to it won't be delivered. Parcels addressed to "any Canadian soldier" will not be delivered due to not only the security risk but the stresses on resources it takes to ship the mail over. They have not been accepted for delivery in a number of years. People may deliver them to a post office run by Canada Post but they have to be picked up in Trenton and delivered via military aircraft to where ever the soldiers are. For every bag of mail sent it takes space for necessary operational items that can't be sent then.

If you are going to send something just make sure it fits the guidelines outlined here: http://www.forces.gc.ca/site/commun/message/addres...

Also, chocolate most likely won't make it without it being turned into a blog of goop as the mail often sits in the heat on an airport ramp for a time during the delivery process.

If you want to do something nice just write a heartfelt letter and post that as per the guidelines.

You can't. Anything other than a postcard or letter will be sent back at your expense.
