Question about Texting and Mexico?

i will be going to Mexico for vacations. I have T-Mobile Cell phone service. My plan has unlimited texting, but will it cover me in Mexico? i know that calls to the U.S will be extremely costly. But, will i be able to text my friends in the United States while i am in Mexico? Also, i do not have special plans or anything that lowers rates for Mexico. Help PLEASE???

Update:

What I' m confused about is that the plan outline for texting says "Text unlimited to anywhere in the U.S."

as quickly as we've been in Mexico via Cancun, shall we text fabric and had to dial a undeniable code to get to the US even though it became possible. Texting to/from Mexico did no longer fee my friends any extra effective, yet became no longer blanketed in those "limitless" texts. regrettably, it became approximately 80 cents per text fabric, so be careful. i'm on Verizon and that became back in January.

It all depends on your service provider and plan.... It would be better to ask them. They will know for sure.

Why don't you ask your provider?
