Unlikely that she could get into trouble with you unless she drives you across a state line without your parent's consent. Good luck.

My sister is 14 and turning 15 on the 13th and her boyfriend is 17 going on 18 next october and i think it is perfectly fine as long as the minors parents are cool with it because if your 18 you don't need your parents consent but if ur a minor dating an adult (someone 18 or older) the parents of the minor do need a say if its fine or not

No. You are 17. That does not count, technically, as dating a minor, as she is only one year older. Also, there are no laws against dating a minor. Having sex with a minor is illegal, and constitutes statutory rape (that is, the law considers it rape even if it is consensual).

It does not matter in this case anyways, because you are 17, which puts you over the age of consent. You can date whoever you want and, as long as you consider it consensual, your older partners cannot get in trouble for it.

  • no, when your 16 your off limits to the cops. the law says 18 but theres an unwritten consent age of actually 16

Not for dating a minor but if you had sex she could probably get into trouble for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Seems unfair..

she could in certain situations. like for example in sexual things there are specific rules that make it different from rape vs submission and sex out of love.

usually the only problem with someone dating a minor is if the minor is an *** and would accuse them of something wrong that the police would care about. (which obviously you wouldnt)

what are you asserting --- that the age of consent is sixteen or 18???? ---- if its sixteen then you particularly haven't any issues ---- if its 18 then as long as no intercourse is in touch you're able to do tremendously lots what you the two desire

I don't think so. You guys were together before she turned 18 and they're usually not as strict with older girls.

you cant get in trouble for just dating, i mean if you have sex with her then it depends on the state and may be considered rape, but if it is just dating and not doing anything sexual, than it is fine
