What does this line from Miranda Lambert's song, "Mama's Broken Heart" mean?

Wish I could be just a little less dramatic, like a Kennedy when Camelot went down in flames.

It is referring to former President John F Kennedy being assassinated. JFK is often referred to as Camelot. Historians often compare the presidency of JFK with Camelot, where the Knights of the round table sat under king arthur. a reference to camelot is usually comparing to a time of idyllic happiness.

tl;dr it is saying that the kennedy presidency, which was idyllic, went down in flames after JFK was assassinated

I don't think it is referring to former President John F Kennedy being assassinated. I think it is his son whom On July 16, 1999, John F. Kennedy Jr. And two passengers on board, Kennedy's wife Carolyn Bessette and her sister Lauren, were also killed. when his airplane he was piloting crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. JFK and JFK Jr. are often referred to as Camelot. Historians often compare the Dynasty of The family with Camelot.

nicely, i might say that, many times, a music {or poem} is open to many and distinctive interpretations. besides the undeniable fact that, if the author / author has publicly {ie: in interviews} reported that it rather is approximately something very specific, then it rather is a distinctive remember, and your instructor replaced into looking forward to solutions to verify {yet then, he could have defined that as quickly as he graded your reaction}. yet individually, i might say your instructor is incorrect - and that i think of you are able to question him on his reasoning because of the fact, if he would not have a valid rationalization for his opinion {ie: there's a nicely prevalent 'one that ability'}, then he's attempting to stifle scholars creativity. And only asserting "your answer is faulty" does no longer supply you with the useful comments you are able to desire to understand what he replaced into honestly looking forward to. this would honestly be the suitable way in to a deeper, greater exciting exploration of non-public interpretation and subjectivity...

It's referring to the Kennedy Family how they were very important and had such high hopes for future presidential runs after JFK. Then his brother, son and daughter were all mysteriously killed while they were running for office. The remaining Kennedys hold very light positions. There is one Kennedy "forgot his name" who is slowly and quietly rising to power. Hopefully he has a better outcome.
