Why did God give me the flu?

It may be to heal/cure you from Cancer. If you look back to 1950, before any vaccinations ever were, the odds of a child getting CancerS was Zero and adults was three percent! Each time a new vaccination came out the odds of getting CancerS jumped!

More likely because God cares for you.

Since you do not believe in God: Where did the first atom ever come from that multiplied into the never proved possible "theory" of the big bang,.... into all there is today including love? How come there are lots of fossils with man's and dinosaur's footprints together, made most likely the same day, and up to 200 feet long?

God doesn't control every aspect of your life there are things called germs that you can get through the air or touching your face without washing your hands first. Anyways people who are christian, Buddhist, atheist, etc get everything that is possible out here I personally believe that God exists and can heal those who need his help the most but punishment is up to him and believe me it's not the flu.
