Does God perform Miracles or Jesus?

All Prophets of God performed Miracles.

Prophet Adam (pbuh) was created without a Father or Mother,

Prophet Ibrahim (pbuh) was saved from the Fire,

Prophet Moses (pbuh) spoke to God direct and performed a greater Miracle in-front of Pharaoh and his magicians from God permission and also received the Torah,

Prophet David (pbuh) spoke to Animals and received the Zabur (Palms) from God permission,

Prophet Solomon (pbuh) spoke to Animals, controlled wind, controlled Jinns and was powerful from God Permission,

Prophet Jesus (pbuh) was born miraculously without a Father by the Word of God and spoke in the cradle and healed the leaper, blind and rise the dead from GOD'S permission and received the Injeel (Gospel),

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) received the Quran from God and changed Arabia within 23 years of his revelation from Allah Almighty.

All Prophets of God prostrated to God just as Muslims prostrate 5 times a day.

Sorry PEACE but im not gonna answer your querstion

i will answer our friend " XAndrewX Roman Catholic Christia..."

first of all in all the verset from the quran it dosnt say "jesus is god" its says, jesus did miricals by the permition of GOD "allah"

now let me give you some exmple from the bible that says that Jesus (peace be up on him) is not God :

jesus was born ==) god can not be born

    john 17:3 **

" Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 4" mean jesus was sent by God

    John 20:17**

jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"

mean the father is everybody's father and everybody's GOD

added to that no one had ever seen god =/ people saw jesus

no one can see god in this life

    Matthew 15:9

"But in vain they do worship me" mean we should not worship jesus but worship God only

    jesus say in john 5:30

By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me

by myself i can do NOTHING

    i judge only as i hear(from God)

and judgment is just because i seek NOT to please myself

(he is not doing as he wishes, and desires) but

to Him who sent him (father)

he is doing so to please ''father'' who is God

    it all said beautifull there

    1. he cant do nothing on his own

    2. he doesnt do as he WISH,but as he is told

    3. he is seeking to PLEASE not himself, but God

jesus was a prophet sent by God ,, he was not GOD or son of God

may God guide you and guide us all to the straigh path ameen

It is true that as man, Jesus performed miracle through the power of the Holy Spirit to teach us we could do the same if we had enough faith.

Proverbs 8:22-30 tells of the Lord’s existence before the Creation, which is confirmed in Micah 5:2 and John 1:1-2, and His participation in the event.  And long before the foundation of Earth was laid Jesus agreed to be born as a man to die for the sins of the people (1 Peter 1:18-20).

yes. god performs miracles. jesus performs miracles.

but your details hold a lot of fictional ideas.

abraham in the fire is a mistranslation of the word "ur". ur was a city. it was mistranslated "fire", and the error appears in the quran.

jesus speaking in the cradle is from the fictional 2nd century "gospel of the infancy". fiction means not true. repeating a fictional story in the quran will not make it true.

    etc

what do these fictions have to do with your question?

My understand is that it would be God and the prophets would have gotten their ability from God. That is, of course, if you choose to belief it.

I am quite sure that there's no miracles performed by either, at least none that can not be attributed to natural causes.

i fail to see the question in "god performs miracles not jesus?"

    maybe its just be though...

  • Jesus is God.

The Qur'an says Jesus is God.

    >>>Jesus

5:110 ~~Jesus~~~and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird~~

    >>>Allah

    15:28 Behold! thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud moulded into shape;

    >>>Jesus

5:110 ~~~~~and thou breathest into it and it becometh a bird

    >>>Allah

15:29 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him."

Jesus created Life just like God because he is God.

    Muhammad never created life.

    Peace be with you

5:110 Then will Allah say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) thee when thou didst show them the clear Signs, and the unbelievers among them said: 'This is nothing but evident magic.'
