gstreamer plugin quicktime linux mint?
im using linux mint 12 and every time i try to open a video it looks for a quicktime plugin and there isn't one. it doesn't matter the video format what do i need to do?

It looks like linux mint has a way to install the plugins. If the first link does not work try the second.

Click Install Mulltimedia Codecs (Menu > Sound and Video)

Installing the ubuntu-restricted-extras package will give you the codecs.

Or you can just open a terminal with Ctrl+Alt+T and paste this, then hit Enter:
sudo aptitude install ubuntu-restricted-extras
